About Lisa
Education and Training:
Lisa Adams Dargel, MS, MPAS, PA-C, is a board certified physician assistant with a special interest in preventative medicine and immunology. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. She then moved back to her home town of San Antonio, TX where she spend the next 5 years doing biomedical research in the field of host immunology in HIV infection at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio while working on her Master’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of Texas San Antonio. Her passion for medicine was then further pursued when she obtained her Master’s in Physician Assistant studies at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. She enjoys educating her patients on ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle, illness prevention, along with patient education on chronic diseases such as asthma.
Personal:
She lives in Pearland, TX with her husband and daughter and enjoys reading, gardening and painting.
